(05/31/23) RadOncQuestions is excited to announce a major update that will considerably improve your learning experience. We have launched the highly requested feature of sub-category test creation. This feature will allow you to tailor your tests to site-specific areas of medical knowledge. With this update, you can now delve into individual topics by creating tests that align with your specific learning goals. The introduction of sub-category test creation empowers you to customize your learning experience to align with individual clinical cases, resident didactic sessions, or specific case scenarios you want to review. You can now fine-tune your tests to concentrate on the exact sub-categories that matter to you.

Here's how you can create tests with specific sub-categories/topics:

  1. Log in to your RadOncQuestions account.
  2. Navigate to the "Create Test" section of our website.
  3. Set the desired number of questions.
  4. On Step 3 of 3 of the Create-a-Test Wizard, select your desired main category or categories.
  5. Within each category, you will now see an option to choose sub-categories of available questions.
  6. You can “Select all” or “Deselect all” categories.
  7. Pick the sub-categories that you want to include in your test.  When the Category is open you can turn it “off” to deselect all topics, then select individual topics.
  8. Click "Create Test" to generate your customized review test.

We hope this new feature will help you make the most of your study time. We are dedicated to continually improving our website and its features based on user feedback. We encourage you to explore this new functionality and let us know your thoughts by sending us an email at support@radoncquestions.com. Your feedback is crucial to help us shape RadOncQuestions into the best educational resource possible.

Thank you for being a part of our community. Stay tuned for more exciting developments on RadOncQuestions, as we remain committed to providing you with an exceptional online learning experience.  Wishing you success in your educational journey!

(11/08/2020) RadOncQuestions is pleased to announce a new feature - Computerized-Adapted Testing (CAT). CAT is a form of computer-based testing that adapts to your ability level (more details are available on Wikipedia). CAT will create a test with new questions from all categories that match your current CAT score. The higher your score, the harder the questions, and vice versa. Every time a CAT test is completed the system will update your CAT score accordingly. You can reset your CAT score at any time and restart CAT.

To give it a try, add the CAT widget to your RadOncQuestions dashboard.

(2/24/19) RadOncQuestions is excited to announce a formal build-out of our "Radiation and Cancer Biology" and "Radiation Physics" sections. Over the next 2 months we will be significantly expanding the number of questions on these two topics.  We aim to add ~400 Radiation and Cancer Biology questions and ~400 Radiation Physics questions.  These will be added on a rolling basis and will be included in the general question bank at no extra charge to current or new subscribers.  The new question content will be guided by the ASTRO Radiation Physics Curriculum and the ASTRO Radiation Biology Curriculum Guidelines.  Content will reference high-yield study resources including McDermott and Orton's The Physics & Technology of Radiation Therapy 2nd ed, Khan and Gibbons Khan's The Physics of Radiation Therapy 5th ed, and Hall and Giaccia's Radiobiology for the Radiologist 8th ed.  Additional cancer biology questions will reference other resources identified by our team of editors.  We look forward to bringing this content to our resident users in time for the 2019 board exam cycle.  In addition, we look forward to critical comments and feedback on the new questions to help refine and improve the content.
